Role Summary

This executive role leads the design, scaling, and governance of a UAE-aligned embedded finance ecosystem powering hyper-connected digital commerce across retail, SME, enterprise, logistics, and cross-border trade environments. The Executive Director will define the interoperable frameworks that unify financial functionality directly within digital platforms, marketplaces, and enterprise workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Embedded Finance Strategy & Architecture

• Develop full-stack embedded finance modules supporting payments, credit, settlement, BNPL, merchant analytics, treasury automation, and multi-rail disbursements.

• Engineer high-availability API orchestration layers enabling banks, NBFIs, and fintech originators to distribute financial products across digital channels.

• Integrate intelligent financial experiences into customer journeys using AI-based personalization, dynamic pricing, and behavioral modeling.

Digital Commerce Infrastructure Development

• Build commerce-level settlement frameworks supporting real-time clearing, split payouts, escrow dynamics, and automated reconciliation workflows.

• Create multi-stakeholder interoperability channels linking fintechs, logistics networks, digital marketplaces, and trade platforms.

Governance, Compliance & Scalability

• Define compliance frameworks covering data-residency, merchant risk profiling, digital contracting, and transactional transparency.

• Build scalability blueprints supporting multi-country digital commerce expansion, regional payment corridor integration, and ecosystem resilience.

Candidate Requirements

• 10–15 years in digital payments, embedded finance, commerce technology, or fintech architecture.

• Deep knowledge of open-finance APIs, digital commerce infrastructure, and modular financial systems.

• Precision in designing high-volume, low-latency, enterprise-grade financial platforms.

• Strong understanding of UAE digital economy frameworks and regional interoperability standards.
