Compensation Architecture:

• Base Salary: SAR 80,000 – 130,000 per month

• Annual Executive Performance Incentive: Up to 40% of base remuneration

Strategic Mandate:

The Executive Director of Digital Payments Architecture & Financial Market Platforms is a senior international fintech leadership role responsible for defining, governing, and scaling enterprise-grade payment infrastructures and digital market platforms serving Saudi Arabia and connected GCC financial ecosystems.

This role operates at the structural core of modern finance, overseeing real-time payment rails, cross-border settlement architectures, API-driven financial platforms, and high-availability transaction ecosystems. The executive will establish the architectural foundations that enable secure, scalable, and regulation-ready digital finance at national and regional scale.

Operating fully remotely, the role requires continuous engagement with senior technologists, regulatory stakeholders, and fintech ecosystem leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and govern large-scale digital payments and settlement platforms operating across multiple financial use cases.

• Define long-term financial market platform strategies aligned with Saudi Arabia’s digital finance trajectory.

• Establish architectural governance frameworks covering resilience, interoperability, security, and regulatory alignment.

• Oversee integration of advanced analytics, automation, and intelligent monitoring into payment ecosystems.

• Define executive-level KPIs for transaction efficiency, platform uptime, scalability, and systemic stability.

• Lead cross-border payment and interoperability strategy across GCC markets.

• Act as executive authority on payment architecture and digital market platform design in strategic forums.

Professional Profile:

• 15+ years’ experience in payments architecture, financial market infrastructure, or fintech platform leadership.

• Deep expertise in real-time payments, settlement systems, and digital financial platforms.

• Strong understanding of Saudi and GCC fintech regulatory frameworks.

• Proven executive leadership in complex, remote, multi-stakeholder environments.

• Advanced academic qualifications in Finance, Engineering, or Systems Architecture preferred.
