Position Overview
This role seeks an executive leader to architect Saudi Arabia’s next-generation digital finance systems — integrating open banking infrastructures, AI-led compliance models, and scalable, cloud-native financial technologies. The Executive Director will lead the end-to-end design of high-performance financial systems aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives, with emphasis on secure data interoperability, machine learning integration, and global transaction scalability.
Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural development of digital core banking systems using microservice and containerized infrastructures.

Engineer AI-powered data pipelines for real-time payment analytics, credit scoring, and predictive liquidity management.

Implement enterprise-grade APIs supporting open banking and third-party fintech integrations under SAMA regulatory oversight.

Establish AI-based fraud prevention, AML/CFT models, and algorithmic transaction intelligence systems.

Coordinate across distributed teams to optimize performance, cybersecurity, and cross-border interoperability frameworks.
Candidate Profile

Minimum 12 years in fintech architecture, digital banking technology, or financial systems integration.

Proficiency in distributed cloud computing, data encryption standards, and AI/ML-driven analytics for financial applications.

Strong knowledge of ISO 20022, open banking frameworks, and real-time payments infrastructure.

Familiarity with Saudi regulatory, digital transformation, and cybersecurity directives.
Educational & Professional Requirements

MSc or PhD in Financial Systems Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.

Certifications in AWS Cloud Architecture, AI in Finance, or Blockchain Development.
