Role Overview
The Executive Director of Digital Finance Architecture will lead the strategic conception and execution of a unified digital financial infrastructure, aligning technological innovation with national economic modernization objectives. Operating at the nexus of AI, distributed ledgers, and regulatory compliance, this leadership role will define and oversee Saudi Arabia’s architectural frameworks for next-generation digital finance ecosystems.
Primary Responsibilities

Design, implement, and govern scalable fintech infrastructures integrating blockchain, open banking APIs, and AI-driven analytics.

Architect interoperable digital ecosystems connecting banks, payment providers, and digital asset platforms under unified compliance protocols.

Lead multi-regulatory alignment strategies in collaboration with SAMA and global financial governance bodies, ensuring digital finance resilience and transparency.

Deploy machine intelligence models for liquidity optimization, capital efficiency, and systemic risk detection.

Drive innovation in digital currency interoperability, ensuring secure and policy-compliant frameworks for CBDC readiness.

Build advanced data integrity and identity validation architectures supporting national-level financial inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications & Expertise

Master’s or Doctorate in Financial Engineering, Systems Architecture, or AI in Finance.

12+ years’ experience in fintech infrastructure, distributed systems, or institutional digital transformation.

Proficiency in blockchain governance, quantum-resilient encryption, and high-volume payment systems.

Deep knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s fintech regulation, open banking standards, and global digital finance frameworks.

Proven capability in developing enterprise-grade financial architectures aligned with international interoperability protocols (ISO 20022, BIS Innovation Hub initiatives).
