Strategic Purpose

This role exists at the apex of digital banking system design, entrusted with shaping how large-scale, technology-driven banking ecosystems are architected, governed, and evolved across complex regulatory and economic environments. The Executive Director will function as a system-level architect, defining the structural logic underpinning modern banking platforms rather than managing individual applications.

The mandate emphasizes long-term platform resilience, interoperability, and architectural coherence across payments, deposits, lending, treasury, and embedded financial services.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end digital banking platforms, including core banking modernization, API-driven ecosystems, and cloud-native financial infrastructure.

• Define enterprise-level architecture for payments, account management, credit engines, liquidity systems, and real-time settlement layers.

• Establish architectural standards ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and regulatory adaptability across jurisdictions.

• Lead strategic integration of AI-driven decision engines, automation layers, and advanced data analytics into banking workflows.

• Translate highly technical architectures into executive-level frameworks suitable for regulators, policymakers, and institutional stakeholders.

Required Expertise

• Extensive experience in core banking transformation, financial systems architecture, or large-scale fintech platforms.

• Deep knowledge of modern banking infrastructure, including microservices, event-driven systems, and secure API orchestration.

• Proven ability to operate autonomously in remote, multi-region strategic environments.
