Position Overview
The Executive Director of Digital Asset Architecture & Blockchain Systems will lead the strategic design, development, and governance of Saudi Arabia’s next-generation digital finance infrastructure. The role combines blockchain engineering, tokenomics design, and system-wide financial architecture to establish secure, interoperable, and scalable digital asset ecosystems.
The incumbent will oversee the deployment of cross-border payment rails, tokenized securities frameworks, and smart contract-based financial services, positioning Saudi Arabia at the forefront of global digital finance innovation.
Core Responsibilities

Architect blockchain-based financial systems supporting multi-asset tokenization, cross-border settlement, and decentralized finance (DeFi) integration.

Design secure, scalable, cloud-native infrastructure aligned with international and GCC regulatory frameworks.

Implement smart contract governance, automated compliance layers, and risk-monitoring frameworks.

Integrate AI-driven analytics for liquidity management, fraud detection, and predictive financial modeling.

Coordinate multi-stakeholder ecosystems including banks, fintech startups, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications

Advanced degree (Master’s/Ph.D.) in Financial Engineering, Blockchain Technology, or Computer Science.

12+ years of experience in digital finance architecture, blockchain deployment, or financial technology leadership.

Proficiency in Solidity, Rust, Python, and blockchain interoperability protocols.

Expertise in GCC fintech regulation, tokenomics, and ISO 20022 standards.
