Role Overview

As the Executive Director of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Integration, you will spearhead the strategic convergence of centralized financial institutions with decentralized protocols, ensuring Kuwait establishes itself as a critical regional node in the future of DeFi-powered liquidity, credit markets, and tokenized collateral ecosystems. This role blends institutional finance, advanced blockchain protocols, and cross-jurisdictional market design.
Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic integration of DeFi liquidity pools into regulated financial environments.

Design frameworks for tokenized collateralization of physical and digital assets (real estate, trade receivables, sovereign bonds).

Oversee the creation of cross-chain settlement protocols connecting GCC financial systems with Ethereum, Solana, and emerging L2s.

Implement DeFi risk modeling engines for systemic monitoring of smart-contract vulnerabilities.

Develop regulatory-compliant yield optimization protocols tailored for institutional adoption.

Shape Kuwait’s DeFi governance frameworks, ensuring interoperability with global standards.
Qualifications

12–18 years in institutional finance, blockchain engineering, or DeFi protocol governance.

Proven record in designing tokenized financial instruments and decentralized credit models.

Academic grounding in financial cryptography, distributed ledger systems, and quantitative economics.
