Role Purpose

Saudi Arabia’s financial evolution is entering a new cycle of cross-border payments modernization, real-time settlement innovation, high-integrity digital identity integration, and large-scale financial orchestration. This executive role is designed for a systems strategist capable of engineering end-to-end, multi-currency, multi-network digital payment ecosystems aligned with Saudi’s forward-looking financial transformation landscape.

As the Executive Director of Cross-Border Payments Intelligence & Digital Settlement Engineering, you will architect sophisticated interbank connectivity models, high-velocity retail and commercial settlement engines, AI-infused anomaly prediction platforms, and embedded compliance intelligence layers—executed entirely through remote leadership.

Core Responsibilities

1. Multi-Network Payments Architecture

• Design interoperable settlement frameworks linking domestic rails with GCC, Asia, Africa, and European corridors.

• Engineer intelligent routing matrices capable of selecting optimal channels based on costs, latency, liquidity, and regulatory parameters.

• Build architecture models for instant cross-border remittances, programmable payment flows, and secure virtual asset settlement pathways.

2. AI-Driven Transaction Intelligence

• Define machine-learning systems that analyze payments telemetry in real time, generating predictive risk signals, fraud probability indices, and liquidity-forecasting models.

• Create adaptive intelligence layers capable of optimizing transaction flows under volatile currency, demand, or regulatory constraints.

3. Settlement Infrastructure Leadership

• Oversee the blueprinting of decentralized settlement engines, tokenized liquidity pools, and off-chain/on-chain hybrid reconciliation models.

• Develop unified APIs for banks, PSPs, exchanges, and fintech platforms to connect to Saudi-aligned settlement services.

4. Regulatory Alignment Frameworks

• Map cross-jurisdictional compliance models and embed them into product architecture across KYC, digital identity, AML, virtual-asset monitoring, and data governance.

• Maintain strategic coherence with evolving Saudi fintech standards.

Candidate Profile

• 12+ years in cross-border payments, settlement engineering, or advanced financial systems architecture.

• Deep understanding of multi-currency liquidity systems, DLT settlement patterns, and AI-oriented financial intelligence.

• Executive presence with strong remote leadership capability.
