Role Overview

The Remote Executive Director of Autonomous Digital Payments & Predictive Liquidity Systems will design, implement, and oversee a fully AI-governed payments infrastructure capable of optimizing liquidity, predicting transactional anomalies, and ensuring seamless cross-border interoperability.
This role combines AI strategy, blockchain engineering, and financial governance, establishing Bahrain as a global leader in intelligent payment networks.
Key Responsibilities

Architect AI-driven payment networks that autonomously balance liquidity and predict transactional trends.

Develop predictive liquidity engines integrating machine learning and real-time financial telemetry.

Implement decentralized compliance modules ensuring adaptive, regulation-aligned operations.

Lead integration with regional and international financial networks to enable cross-border digital settlements.

Establish governance frameworks for algorithmic transparency, security, and risk mitigation.

Oversee R&D initiatives exploring tokenized payment instruments and programmable monetary flows.
Qualifications

PhD or advanced degree in Financial Systems Engineering, AI, or Distributed Ledger Technology.

10+ years of experience in payment infrastructure design, AI financial systems, or blockchain-enabled finance.

Expertise in liquidity modeling, decentralized finance integration, and predictive analytics.

Familiarity with Bahrain’s digital transformation strategies and GCC fintech interoperability standards.
