This role seeks a visionary Executive Director of AI-Driven Financial Infrastructure & Digital Strategy to design, scale, and govern Kuwait’s next-generation financial backbone — an ecosystem underpinned by machine intelligence, data harmonization, and autonomous transaction frameworks.
The successful candidate will lead the evolution of Kuwait’s fintech landscape toward a self-learning, adaptive financial environment, embedding intelligence at every layer of interaction — from consumer engagement to macroeconomic oversight.
Core Responsibilities

Architect a comprehensive AI-powered financial infrastructure roadmap, integrating predictive analytics, risk intelligence, and algorithmic decisioning.

Oversee migration from static core banking systems to cloud-native, AI-integrated digital platforms.

Develop a federated data architecture connecting financial institutions, regulators, and digital service providers.

Implement ethical AI frameworks ensuring transparency, explainability, and compliance within automated financial decisioning.

Lead cross-sectoral collaborations in Kuwait’s financial ecosystem to ensure systemic alignment with global open finance standards.

Establish AI governance layers compliant with Kuwait’s central digital transformation strategy and international digital ethics guidelines.
Qualifications

PhD or Master’s in Computational Finance, AI Systems, or Financial Data Engineering.

Minimum 12 years of senior-level experience in fintech innovation, digital infrastructure, or cognitive computing.

Proficiency in large language models (LLMs), deep learning (TensorFlow/PyTorch), and real-time decision intelligence systems.

Expertise in open finance standards (ISO 20022, APIX) and AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, OECD AI Principles).

Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary, globally distributed teams.
