Role Overview

The Remote Executive Director for Next-Generation Banking Architecture & AI-Driven Compliance Systems will lead the transformation of Saudi Arabia’s digital banking ecosystem through highly scalable, API-driven architectures, sovereign-grade data orchestration, predictive financial intelligence, and real-time regulatory automation. This role demands mastery of digital banking modernization, open-finance ecosystems, risk-automation engineering, and high-integrity compliance infrastructures designed for a rapidly evolving GCC banking landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Open-Finance Architecture Leadership
  
  Build comprehensive API-first banking environments integrating account aggregation, consent-based data exchange, multi-party digital authorization, and dynamic financial orchestration layers.

• AI-Governed Compliance Automation
  
  Deploy advanced compliance engines capable of real-time AML analysis, risk exposure recalibration, behavioral anomaly detection, and automated control execution.

• Digital Core Banking Modernization
  
  Lead the replacement of legacy core structures with microservices-driven cores, real-time ledger systems, dynamic interest calculation engines, and programmable product management layers.

• Sovereign Data Intelligence & Governance
  
  Architect secure data ecosystems optimized for cross-platform identity resolution, predictive analytics, risk simulation models, and Saudi-specific regulatory alignment.

• Operational Reliability & Security Doctrine
  
  Establish high-integrity resilience frameworks, zero-trust security postures, and multilayer incident-response matrices for mission-critical financial platforms.

Technical Expertise Required

• Extensive experience with core banking systems, real-time data processing, ISO 20022 frameworks, open-banking ecosystems, and intelligent compliance algorithms.

• Strong proficiency in cloud-native fintech engineering, risk modelling, and enterprise-grade data governance environments.
