Position Overview

This is a sovereign-level executive role responsible for architecting, governing, and future-proofing national digital financial systems. The Executive Director will define payment rails, ledger systems, and interoperable fintech infrastructure, ensuring alignment with national economic strategy and regulatory policy.

This role is entirely strategic and advisory; it does not involve operational execution. The incumbent will provide high-level frameworks, policy integration, and architectural oversight.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect national payments infrastructure ensuring resilience, modularity, and scalability

• Develop cross-platform interoperability strategies connecting banks, fintechs, and regulators

• Design systemic risk frameworks, disaster recovery, and contingency protocols

• Advise on emerging fintech adoption, including blockchain-based clearing, AI-driven payments, and open banking ecosystems

• Produce executive-grade architecture blueprints, governance documents, and strategic roadmaps

• Align domestic platforms with cross-border financial standards and compliance requirements
