The Executive Director – Global Digital Finance & Payments Architecture will spearhead strategy, design, and deployment of advanced fintech systems that form the backbone of next-generation banking and payment platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, distributed transaction networks, and secure API ecosystems, while delivering measurable operational and strategic value across global financial networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Payment Architecture Leadership: Design and manage enterprise-grade payment networks with real-time transaction processing and settlement across multiple currencies.

• Cross-Border Finance Integration: Develop secure frameworks enabling seamless international financial interoperability.

• Platform Governance & Compliance: Implement risk mitigation frameworks, transaction monitoring systems, and financial cybersecurity protocols.

• Innovation & Emerging Technology Strategy: Evaluate emerging fintech solutions, such as AI-driven fraud detection, programmable payment rails, and blockchain-enabled payment infrastructures, integrating them into operational systems.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Lead cross-functional, global engineering teams, collaborating with fintech innovators, regulators, and digital banking partners.

Technical Environment

• Cloud-native, distributed payment architectures

• High-volume, low-latency transaction processing systems

• Financial APIs for global integration

• Advanced monitoring, fraud detection, and security frameworks

• Microservices-based modular fintech platforms

Candidate Profile

Experience: 15+ years in fintech infrastructure, digital banking architecture, or payment systems engineering.

Technical Expertise: Distributed transaction networks, API ecosystems, secure financial data processing, cloud-scale architecture.

Leadership: Proven record of managing international fintech engineering teams delivering large-scale platform deployments.
