Position Overview
The Executive Director of Fintech Strategy & Digital Payments Ecosystem will lead the strategic evolution of Saudi Arabia’s digital financial infrastructure. This position requires mastery of emerging financial technologies, cross-border payment systems, and AI-enhanced transaction intelligence to drive interoperability and inclusion across retail, corporate, and institutional markets.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive national fintech and payments transformation roadmap.

Design interoperable real-time payment systems aligned with ISO 20022 and open banking frameworks.

Establish governance structures for API integration, digital wallets, and multi-rail settlements.

Oversee large-scale adoption of AI-driven fraud analytics and financial data security protocols.

Collaborate with regulators and international financial institutions on digital innovation frameworks.

Manage end-to-end fintech architecture across payments, lending, and digital identity solutions.

Ensure cybersecurity, resilience, and compliance with GCC and global digital finance standards.
Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in Finance, Technology Management, or Computer Science.

12+ years’ experience in digital payments, fintech strategy, or financial system modernization.

Deep knowledge of open finance, AI, blockchain, and regulatory technology.

Proven track record leading digital transformation at enterprise or national level.
