Strategic Role Mandate

This role represents a senior fintech governance mandate focused on defining how complex digital financial platforms maintain sovereignty, coherence, and strategic control as they scale into multi-product, multi-ecosystem environments. The Executive Director will oversee the structural, operational, and governance models that allow fintech platforms to expand without fragmentation or loss of architectural integrity.

The position requires a rare blend of platform theory, operating-model design, and long-term ecosystem thinking, ensuring that growth remains disciplined, intentional, and strategically aligned.

Core Strategic Responsibilities

  • Define and steward fintech platform operating models, including ownership boundaries, interaction contracts, and escalation pathways.

  • Establish governance frameworks ensuring architectural consistency, decision clarity, and long-term sustainability.

  • Oversee multi-year platform sovereignty and ecosystem expansion strategies.

  • Align product strategy, technical architecture, and organisational design into a unified execution model.

  • Lead executive-level platform reviews, strategic planning cycles, and capability maturity assessments.

  • Act as the principal guardian of platform integrity across all growth phases.

Professional & Technical Profile

  • 15–22+ years of experience in fintech platform strategy, digital operating models, or financial ecosystem leadership.

  • Strong understanding of platform economics, modular architecture, and ecosystem governance dynamics.

  • Demonstrated success guiding complex fintech platforms through sustained growth and transformation.

  • Exceptional strategic articulation, stakeholder leadership, and systems-thinking capability.

Compensation Framework (Qatar – International Executive Benchmark)

  • Base Annual Compensation: QAR 640,000 – QAR 900,000

  • Strategic Performance Incentive: 30% – 45% annually

  • Long-Term Retention Structure: Multi-year cash-based incentive programme

  • Additional Provisions:

    • Executive-grade remote-work environment allowance
