Strategic Role Mandate
This role represents a senior fintech governance mandate focused on defining how complex digital finance platforms are structured, governed, and scaled over time. The Executive Director will oversee platform operating models, governance frameworks, and ecosystem participation strategies, ensuring that growth occurs without fragmentation, technical debt accumulation, or loss of strategic control.
The position requires deep expertise in platform theory, modular architecture, and operating-model design, enabling fintech ecosystems to expand sustainably across products, users, and integrations.
Core Strategic Responsibilities

Define and steward fintech platform operating models, including ownership boundaries, interaction contracts, and escalation mechanisms.

Establish governance frameworks ensuring architectural consistency, decision clarity, and long-term sustainability.

Oversee multi-year platform scaling and ecosystem expansion strategies.

Align product vision, technical architecture, and operating structures into a unified execution model.

Lead executive-level platform reviews, strategic planning cycles, and capability maturity assessments.

Act as the principal guardian of platform coherence across all growth phases.
Professional & Technical Profile

15–22+ years of experience in fintech platform strategy, digital operating models, or financial ecosystem leadership.

Strong understanding of platform economics, modular system design, and ecosystem governance dynamics.

Demonstrated success guiding complex fintech platforms through sustained growth and transformation.

Exceptional strategic articulation, stakeholder leadership, and systems-thinking capability.
Compensation Framework (Oman – International Executive Benchmark)

Base Annual Compensation: OMR 58,000 – OMR 82,000

Strategic Performance Incentive: 30% – 45% annually
