An internationally expanding financial technology institution is seeking an accomplished Executive Director – Fintech Infrastructure & Core Banking Modernization to lead enterprise-wide transformation of digital banking infrastructure, cloud-native financial platforms, payment connectivity, and mission-critical core banking technologies.
This executive role offers the opportunity to shape resilient, scalable, and future-ready financial ecosystems supporting millions of customers, institutional partners, and commercial clients across the Gulf region.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise strategies for core banking modernization and infrastructure transformation.
- Lead migration from legacy banking systems to cloud-native financial platforms.
- Oversee platform scalability, resilience, and operational continuity.
- Establish enterprise architecture standards for financial technology ecosystems.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, compliance, and operations leadership.
- Evaluate emerging infrastructure technologies and modernization opportunities.
- Direct enterprise investment in mission-critical financial platforms.
- Monitor executive technology performance metrics and governance frameworks.
- Present strategic initiatives to the Executive Committee and Board.
- Mentor senior engineering and technology leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Technology Management preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of executive leadership experience in fintech, banking technology, enterprise infrastructure, or digital transformation.
- Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and financial systems modernization.
- Exceptional executive leadership, commercial awareness, and strategic planning skills.
