The selected executive will oversee enterprise-wide cybersecurity modernization across multiple financial technology ecosystems supporting millions of transactions and highly sensitive financial operations.
Strategic Role Overview
The Executive Director will supervise enterprise financial cybersecurity strategy, operational resilience modernization, intelligent threat detection systems, and digital financial protection infrastructure across complex fintech ecosystems.
This role combines cybersecurity leadership, enterprise fintech modernization, cloud security governance, fraud intelligence engineering, and operational defense transformation.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise cybersecurity modernization across digital banking and fintech ecosystems
- Design scalable financial defense architecture protecting enterprise transaction environments
- Build AI-powered threat intelligence and fraud prevention systems
- Develop cloud-native cybersecurity frameworks supporting distributed financial operations
- Oversee operational resilience programs ensuring uninterrupted financial continuity
- Implement enterprise security governance aligned with digital finance regulations
- Coordinate cybersecurity incident response and financial threat mitigation initiatives
- Strengthen digital identity protection and customer authentication ecosystems
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to secure cloud-based financial systems
- Supervise enterprise vulnerability assessments and penetration testing programs
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies shaping future fintech ecosystems
- Mentor multidisciplinary teams across security operations, compliance, infrastructure, and threat intelligence divisions
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 10–18 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, fintech security infrastructure, or enterprise financial defense systems
- Strong expertise in cloud security, digital banking security, and fraud intelligence systems
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity governance and operational resilience engineering
- Experience leading enterprise-scale security modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with AI-powered threat detection ecosystems and compliance frameworks
- Exceptional executive leadership and crisis management capabilities
- GCC financial cybersecurity exposure strongly preferred
