Executive Director – Fintech Control Frameworks & Systemic Stability Engineering
Location: Sultanate of Oman (Muscat | Regional Coordination Mandate)
Strategic Mandate
This role is designed for a fintech executive focused on operational resilience, control engineering, and systemic stability across complex digital financial platforms.
The mandate addresses a critical fintech question: how innovation operates continuously without failure, even under extreme transaction volumes, market stress, or infrastructure disruption. The role embeds control logic, resilience mechanisms, and recovery intelligence directly into fintech architecture.
Core Responsibilities

Architect operational control frameworks embedded within fintech transaction systems.

Design resilience and fault-tolerance models for payments, wallets, and settlement platforms.

Establish real-time monitoring, escalation, and automated recovery mechanisms.

Define governance standards for incident response, exception handling, and continuity planning.

Lead stress-testing, simulation, and scenario-engineering initiatives.

Integrate operational-risk intelligence directly into transaction orchestration layers.

Coordinate across infrastructure, risk, and architecture teams to ensure systemic stability.

Represent fintech resilience strategy in regional and international forums.
Candidate Profile

15+ years in fintech operations, financial infrastructure, or high-reliability systems.

Deep expertise in operational risk, resilience engineering, and system stability.

Strong understanding of transaction processing and failure-mode design.

Proven leadership in environments where downtime is unacceptable.

Highly analytical with strong execution capability.
Compensation Structure (Annual)

Base Salary: OMR 105,000 – 135,000

Operational Excellence Bonus: OMR 30,000 – 45,000

Long-Term Resilience Incentive: OMR 40,000 – 65,000

Total Annual Package: OMR 175,000 – 245,000
