The objective is not merely scalability, but systemic resilience: an infrastructure capable of sustaining uninterrupted financial operations under extreme load conditions, regional outages, and evolving cybersecurity threats.
To lead this foundational transformation, the organization is seeking an Executive Director – Financial Cloud Infrastructure, Resilience Engineering & Multi-Region Systems.
This role governs the engineering philosophy of “zero downtime finance,” ensuring that financial services remain continuously available, self-healing, and operationally adaptive.
Core Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Architecture
- Design multi-region cloud infrastructure for fintech platforms.
- Build systems supporting high availability and fault tolerance.
- Implement distributed architectures across multiple data centers.
- Ensure seamless failover and disaster recovery capabilities.
Resilience Engineering
- Develop self-healing systems capable of automatic recovery.
- Implement chaos engineering practices to test system robustness.
- Ensure systems maintain performance under stress conditions.
- Minimize service disruptions and downtime.
Performance & Scalability
- Optimize infrastructure for high transaction throughput.
- Ensure consistent performance across regions.
- Implement load balancing and traffic distribution strategies.
- Maintain system responsiveness under peak demand.
Security, Governance & Compliance
- Implement robust cybersecurity frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Maintain auditability and transparency of infrastructure operations.
- Protect sensitive financial data across distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in multi-region architecture and resilience engineering.
- Experience in fintech or high-availability systems.
- Proven leadership in large-scale technical environments.

- Kubernetes and container orchestration
