An internationally renowned financial technology enterprise is seeking a visionary Executive Director – Financial Cloud Engineering & Platform Resilience to lead the architecture, modernization, and resilience of cloud-native financial platforms supporting digital banking, payment processing, treasury operations, and intelligent financial ecosystems across the Gulf region.
This executive leadership role demands an accomplished technology strategist with a passion for building highly available, secure, and scalable financial infrastructure capable of supporting millions of real-time transactions while driving innovation through cloud computing, AI, and automation.
Executive Responsibilities
Cloud Strategy & Platform Transformation
- Develop enterprise cloud strategies supporting long-term digital finance transformation.
- Lead migration of mission-critical banking platforms into cloud-native environments.
- Design resilient financial infrastructure with high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Define cloud governance, architecture, and engineering standards.
Technology Leadership
- Oversee cloud architects, platform engineers, DevSecOps teams, site reliability engineers, and software engineering leaders.
- Drive AI-enabled infrastructure automation and predictive platform monitoring.
- Build enterprise API ecosystems connecting digital financial services.
- Improve operational efficiency through intelligent cloud optimization.
Executive Governance
- Present strategic cloud investment roadmaps to executive leadership.
- Establish measurable engineering KPIs.
- Strengthen cybersecurity posture across enterprise financial systems.
- Lead innovation initiatives supporting regional expansion.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Cloud Computing.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of leadership experience in cloud engineering, enterprise infrastructure, or fintech.
- Proven track record leading enterprise-scale financial technology transformation.
