A rapidly expanding financial technology organization is seeking an accomplished Executive Director to spearhead enterprise-wide payment transformation initiatives. This leadership opportunity is designed for an executive capable of redefining payment ecosystems, accelerating financial innovation, and delivering next-generation digital transaction experiences across regional and international markets.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for payment modernization, strategic innovation, financial technology architecture, and operational excellence while collaborating with regulators, banking partners, technology vendors, and executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term digital payments strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead modernization of payment rails including real-time payments, digital wallets, virtual accounts, and cross-border payment solutions.
- Build strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and payment service providers.
- Drive innovation through emerging financial technologies and intelligent automation.
- Oversee enterprise payment governance, operational resilience, and risk mitigation.
- Champion customer-centric financial solutions that improve transaction speed and reliability.
- Guide executive decision-making using advanced financial analytics and performance intelligence.
- Lead high-performing technology, operations, and product management teams.
- Ensure compliance with regional financial regulations and global industry standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Extensive leadership experience within fintech, digital banking, or payment technology.
- Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, financial infrastructure, and digital transformation.
- Strong commercial acumen with exceptional executive leadership capabilities.
- Experience managing large-scale technology transformation programmes.
