Executive Director – Digital Payments & Financial Infrastructure

Position Overview
The Executive Director of Digital Payments & Financial Infrastructure will lead the design, deployment, and governance of Saudi Arabia’s next-generation fintech ecosystem. The role requires deep expertise in digital banking, cross-border payments, and AI-enhanced transaction monitoring, ensuring scalable, secure, and interoperable financial networks.
Key Responsibilities

Lead strategy for digital payment systems, e-wallets, and instant settlement networks.

Design scalable architectures for real-time transactions and cross-border remittances.

Integrate AI and machine learning for fraud detection, risk management, and predictive analytics.

Collaborate with regulators to ensure compliance with domestic and international fintech standards.

Oversee open banking and API-based partnerships for third-party fintech integration.

Develop governance and cybersecurity frameworks across all digital finance infrastructure.
Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in Financial Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science.

Minimum 12 years of experience in digital banking, payments, or fintech transformation.

Strong knowledge of ISO 20022, blockchain-based settlement, and cloud-native platforms.

Proven track record of leading large-scale fintech innovation programs.
