Role Overview

This role entails strategic leadership over digital finance systems architecture, focusing on scalable, cloud-native platforms, AI-enhanced financial services, and cross-border payment infrastructures. The Executive Director will define architecture standards, regulatory alignment, and technology roadmaps for high-volume digital finance ecosystems in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-grade, cloud-native financial platforms integrating real-time payments, digital wallets, and cross-border remittance rails.

• Design AI-powered transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and predictive analytics frameworks.

• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Central Bank directives, AML/CFT regulations, and ISO 20022 standards.

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in deploying resilient, high-throughput fintech infrastructure with zero downtime.

• Develop strategic technology roadmaps for digital banking, wealth management, and tokenized asset platforms.

• Oversee cross-platform integration, API orchestration, and secure interoperability with third-party financial networks.

• Deliver comprehensive technical documentation, governance protocols, and operational risk models.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in fintech architecture, cloud-native banking systems, or payments infrastructure.

• Expertise in distributed systems, real-time settlement mechanisms, and financial data engineering.

• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory frameworks, ISO 20022, and cybersecurity best practices.

• Proven ability to lead remote, multi-time-zone teams and execute global-scale fintech projects.
