Role Overview
The Executive Director – Blockchain & Smart Contract Payments Infrastructure will architect and implement Qatar’s next-generation transaction systems, designed around blockchain-based settlement, programmable money, and smart contract-driven trade finance. This role will be pivotal in establishing Qatar as a payments innovation hub within the GCC and beyond.
Key Responsibilities

Lead deployment of smart contract-based financial settlement systems for trade and retail markets.

Develop cross-border blockchain payments infrastructure integrated with regional and global platforms.

Shape policy and frameworks for programmable digital money adoption.

Oversee partnerships with regulators, banks, and fintech innovators to ensure scalability.

Position Qatar at the forefront of blockchain-driven payments innovation.
Candidate Profile

12–18 years in digital payments, blockchain strategy, or smart contract systems.

Mastery of DLT applications, digital settlement frameworks, and tokenized payments.

Advanced degree in Distributed Systems, Financial Technology, or International Economics.
