Role Overview

Bahrain is positioning itself as a regional hub for institutional digital assets and blockchain infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-grade blockchain systems, digital asset custody protocols, and tokenization frameworks. The Executive Director will ensure cross-network interoperability, governance, and compliance alignment across regional and international digital asset ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure and custody solutions for multi-asset digital portfolios.

• Lead tokenization initiatives for financial instruments, ensuring full lifecycle management and secure redemption processes.

• Define governance, compliance, and risk frameworks in alignment with evolving GCC digital asset regulations.

• Coordinate cross-border integration for digital asset transfers and settlement mechanisms.

• Oversee advanced operational risk monitoring, security protocols, and audit-ready reporting systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in blockchain architecture, digital asset management, or institutional fintech systems.

• Deep expertise in distributed ledger technology, secure key management, and tokenization protocols.

• Experience with cross-border regulatory compliance in the GCC and globally.

• Strong leadership in large-scale fintech infrastructure projects.
