Role Overview

The Executive Director will define and execute a comprehensive strategy for blockchain and digital asset ecosystems within the UAE, positioning the market as a global leader in tokenized finance, decentralized platforms, and digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design a national-level framework for tokenization of securities, real-world assets, and alternative investments.

• Lead integration of blockchain-based settlement and custody infrastructures across institutional markets.

• Establish best-practice standards for FATF-aligned digital asset exchanges and custodial models.

• Drive global partnerships with blockchain consortia, regulatory think-tanks, and international fintech alliances.

• Oversee R&D in quantum-resilient cryptography and advanced consensus models for large-scale adoption.

Candidate Profile

• 12–15 years in blockchain, fintech, or capital market innovation.

• Expertise in token economics, distributed ledger technologies, and multi-jurisdictional compliance.

• Strong academic grounding in Cryptography, Economics, or Computer Science (PhD advantageous).

• Demonstrated success in launching regulated blockchain or digital asset initiatives.
