The Executive Opportunity

An internationally expanding fintech organization is seeking an accomplished Executive Director – AI Governance & Digital Finance Strategy to lead enterprise-wide AI governance, innovation strategy, and intelligent transformation initiatives across multiple financial platforms.
Reporting directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer, you will establish ethical AI frameworks, oversee strategic technology investments, and ensure intelligent systems deliver measurable commercial value while maintaining operational integrity and customer trust.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise AI governance frameworks and policies.
- Lead the strategic adoption of AI across banking and payment platforms.
- Oversee intelligent automation and predictive decision systems.
- Establish enterprise standards for model lifecycle management and AI risk oversight.
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, compliance, and executive leadership teams.
- Drive AI investment strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Present innovation roadmaps to the Executive Committee and Board.
- Build partnerships with global technology providers and research institutions.
- Mentor senior technology and product leaders.
- Promote a culture of responsible innovation and continuous transformation.
Executive Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Systems.
- MBA or executive leadership qualification is highly desirable.
- 15+ years of leadership experience in fintech, banking, AI, enterprise technology, or digital transformation.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale innovation programmes.
- Outstanding executive communication, commercial insight, and leadership capabilities.
