Role Mandate
This role defines the institutional discipline of fintech platforms. The Executive Director of Structural Governance & Control Logic establishes the rules, constraints, and decision architectures that keep complex financial systems coherent as they scale across markets, products, and transaction volumes.
The mandate is neither operational nor advisory; it is structural authority, defining how decisions are made, how controls are enforced, and how integrity is preserved at platform level.
Strategic Responsibilities

Design structural governance frameworks defining authority, escalation, and accountability

Establish embedded control logic governing financial, operational, and systemic boundaries

Define integrity standards across transaction processing, data handling, and platform behavior

Oversee resilience planning, incident governance, and systemic recovery models

Develop executive-level indicators for institutional health and platform discipline

Advise senior stakeholders on governance trade-offs between speed, scale, and stability

Produce long-term governance charters and institutional evolution roadmaps
Professional Requirements

15–22+ years in fintech governance, institutional controls, or platform oversight

Strong background in systemic risk, control architecture, and operational discipline

Experience governing large-scale, multi-component fintech ecosystems

Exceptional policy design and executive-level communication skills

Demonstrated success leading globally distributed, fully remote teams
