Executive Director – Fintech Core Platforms, Financial State Architecture & Global Transaction Systems (Dubai, UAE)
Strategic Rationale
This role exists to define and steward the core financial platforms that encode institutional truth across complex fintech ecosystems. The Executive Director will oversee the architectural logic that governs how money moves, how financial state is represented, and how transactional certainty is preserved at scale.
The mandate is to treat core platforms as long-lived financial institutions expressed in software, designed for endurance, correctness, and strategic flexibility rather than short-term feature velocity.
Primary Responsibilities

Architect core fintech platforms encompassing ledgers, transaction engines, orchestration layers, and integration frameworks

Define financial state models that remain consistent across products, regions, and currencies

Establish transactional integrity principles governing atomicity, concurrency, reversals, and historical traceability

Design systems that scale under high-volume, low-latency, multi-jurisdictional conditions

Lead architectural governance for remote senior engineering and platform teams

Translate deep technical structures into clear executive-level system narratives and roadmaps
Required Experience

15+ years in fintech architecture, core banking platforms, or financial infrastructure engineering

Deep expertise in distributed systems, transaction processing, and financial data consistency

Strong understanding of platform risk, systemic failure modes, and architectural resilience

Proven leadership in remote, globally distributed senior teams
