Executive Director – Global Fintech Ledger Architecture, Transaction Integrity & Financial State Management (Dubai, UAE)
Strategic Mandate
This role exists to design and govern next-generation financial ledger ecosystems that act as the single source of truth for complex, multi-product fintech platforms. The Executive Director will treat ledgers not as accounting artifacts, but as core financial state engines that define correctness, trust, and institutional credibility.
The mandate is to architect systems that never lose financial meaning, even under extreme scale, concurrency, or cross-border complexity.
Core Responsibilities

Architect multi-layer ledger frameworks supporting real-time, near-real-time, and settlement-grade financial states

Design transaction integrity models ensuring idempotency, atomicity, reversibility, and traceability

Define ledger governance principles for versioning, mutation control, and historical immutability

Integrate ledger logic across payments, lending, treasury, and digital financial products

Establish reconciliation-by-design architectures, eliminating downstream ambiguity

Advise executive leadership on financial state risk, system correctness, and long-term ledger evolution
Required Expertise

15+ years in fintech architecture, core banking systems, or large-scale financial platforms

Deep understanding of double-entry systems, event-sourced ledgers, and financial consistency models

Experience designing high-volume, low-latency transaction systems

Proven leadership of remote senior architecture and engineering teams
Ideal Profile

Able to translate abstract financial mechanics into executable system logic

Engagement & Compensation

Fully remote, Dubai-aligned role

Monthly compensation range: AED 115,000 – 165,000
