THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Architect to design the technology foundations supporting sophisticated digital financial products and high-volume transaction environments.
The position requires an engineer and technology leader capable of looking beyond individual applications and understanding the entire financial technology ecosystem—from customer-facing applications and APIs to transaction processing, data infrastructure, cloud environments, security, observability, and integration.
You will be responsible for ensuring that financial platforms are designed for scale, resilience, security, performance, and long-term adaptability.
ARCHITECTURAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Architecture
Develop architecture standards, reference models, technical roadmaps, and target-state architectures for fintech platforms.
Payments & Transactions
Design scalable systems supporting payment processing, transaction orchestration, reconciliation, and real-time financial services.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Define cloud-native architecture strategies incorporating scalability, availability, resilience, automation, and cost optimization.
APIs & Integration
Design secure API ecosystems and integration frameworks connecting internal services, financial platforms, and external partners.
Data Architecture
Establish reliable data architectures supporting analytics, reporting, artificial intelligence, and real-time decision systems.
Security & Resilience
Work with cybersecurity teams to embed identity, access management, encryption, threat mitigation, disaster recovery, and resilience into platform architecture.
Technical Governance
Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations, design assessments, and technical decision-making across engineering teams.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, software architecture, fintech engineering, banking technology, or financial infrastructure.

Demonstrated experience designing distributed, high-availability systems.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and modern infrastructure.

Extensive experience with APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Strong understanding of databases, data platforms, and integration technologies.

Knowledge of cybersecurity and resilient-system design.

Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical architectures.

Strong leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.
