This role is designed for a fintech professional who approaches digital finance as enterprise infrastructure, not product experimentation. The Enterprise Fintech Architecture Lead is accountable for defining the structural blueprint that governs how digital financial platforms are designed, integrated, scaled, and sustained over time.
Rather than focusing on individual applications, the role governs architecture at platform and ecosystem level, ensuring that fintech systems remain coherent, resilient, and extensible as complexity increases.
Architectural Accountability Areas

Define reference architectures for digital banking, payments, data platforms, and API ecosystems.

Establish architectural principles governing modularity, interoperability, security, and resilience.

Evaluate existing fintech systems for architectural debt, scalability limits, and structural risk.

Design target-state architectures and phased transition roadmaps.

Act as architectural authority across senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Professional Depth

15+ years in fintech architecture, enterprise systems, or financial infrastructure design.

Proven experience defining large-scale platform architectures rather than isolated solutions.

Strong documentation discipline and ability to articulate architecture at executive and technical levels.

High autonomy and comfort operating in a remote, outcome-driven environment.
