An internationally ambitious financial technology institution is seeking a visionary Architect to define and execute the enterprise architecture strategy powering the next generation of digital banking ecosystems. This executive-level technology leadership opportunity is intended for an accomplished fintech professional capable of designing resilient, cloud-native financial platforms that seamlessly integrate digital banking services, intelligent payment infrastructures, Open Banking ecosystems, API marketplaces, enterprise security frameworks, and AI-powered financial applications.
The successful candidate will become the principal architectural authority responsible for aligning business transformation with emerging technologies while ensuring every technology investment contributes to scalability, operational resilience, regulatory readiness, cybersecurity maturity, and exceptional customer experiences.
This role extends beyond technical architecture, requiring strategic leadership in enterprise modernization, engineering governance, innovation management, financial technology research, infrastructure optimization, and digital ecosystem development.
Executive Responsibilities

Develop and govern the enterprise fintech architecture roadmap.

Design highly available cloud-native banking platforms capable of supporting millions of daily financial transactions.

Architect enterprise payment infrastructures supporting instant settlement, cross-border transfers, merchant acquiring, digital wallets, and embedded finance.

Lead modernization of legacy banking systems through microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first engineering.

Build enterprise architecture governance frameworks aligned with international financial technology standards.

Establish technology reference architectures for artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and predictive analytics.

Define enterprise resilience strategies covering disaster recovery, high availability, business continuity, and cyber resilience.

Guide engineering leadership on architecture principles, software quality standards, and technology lifecycle management.

Evaluate emerging technologies to accelerate innovation across digital banking and financial services.

Collaborate with executive leadership to align enterprise technology investments with long-term commercial objectives.
