Engineering Mission
Engineer intelligent fraud-detection capabilities capable of identifying suspicious financial behavior in real time while minimizing unnecessary disruption to legitimate customers.
Technical Responsibilities

Build real-time fraud-detection and transaction-risk services.

Develop data pipelines supporting fraud analytics and machine-learning models.
-
Implement behavioral and transaction-based detection mechanisms.
-
Integrate fraud engines with payment and banking platforms.
-
Optimize detection latency for high-volume transaction environments.
-
Develop APIs connecting fraud intelligence with authorization workflows.
-
Establish monitoring for model performance, system reliability and detection quality.
-
Investigate technical causes of false positives and missed detections.
-
Collaborate with data scientists to productionize fraud models.
-
Participate in incident analysis and continuous improvement of fraud controls.
Technical Requirements
-
6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in fintech, payments or cybersecurity.

Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Go or comparable languages.

Experience with APIs, microservices and distributed systems.

Knowledge of machine-learning deployment and data-processing pipelines.
-
Understanding of payment transaction flows and fraud typologies.
-
Experience with cloud infrastructure and real-time data systems.
-
Strong software-security and testing practices.
Advantageous Experience
Exposure to graph analytics, anomaly detection, behavioral modelling, streaming technologies and machine-learning operations will be highly valued.
