Technical Mandate
Build and maintain the cloud infrastructure powering high-availability financial applications. The role is centred on reliability, automation, security, scalability and efficient deployment of fintech workloads.
Responsibilities

Design and operate resilient cloud environments for financial applications.

Build automated CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
-
Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management practices.
-
Establish monitoring, logging and observability across production environments.
-
Improve system availability, performance and disaster-recovery capabilities.
-
Collaborate with application engineers to optimise cloud-native architectures.
-
Automate deployment, testing and infrastructure provisioning.
-
Identify infrastructure bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
-
Support security hardening and access-control practices.
-
Participate in incident response and post-incident technical reviews.
-
Develop documentation covering infrastructure architecture and operational procedures.
Technical Profile
-
5+ years of cloud, DevOps, SRE or infrastructure-engineering experience.

Strong experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

Proficiency with Linux, networking and infrastructure automation.
-
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
-
Working knowledge of Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
-
Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and Git-based development workflows.
-
Understanding of security, observability and high-availability architectures.
-
Experience within fintech or regulated financial technology is advantageous.
