A leading financial technology organization is seeking a highly accomplished Distinguished Engineer – Financial Platform Reliability to lead the architecture, resilience, and operational excellence of mission-critical financial systems supporting high-volume payment processing and digital banking services.
This distinguished technical leadership role offers the opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges while influencing enterprise architecture and infrastructure strategy across modern fintech ecosystems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design resilient, high-availability financial platforms.
- Define enterprise reliability engineering standards.
- Improve system scalability and fault tolerance.
- Optimize cloud-native infrastructure performance.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks.
- Lead observability and monitoring initiatives.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, DevOps, and software engineering teams.
- Mentor senior engineering professionals.
- Champion engineering excellence across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of enterprise software or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Extensive experience designing highly available distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of financial technology environments.
- Proven leadership within large-scale engineering organizations.
