Position Overview
An elite financial institution in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a visionary Director to lead enterprise-wide banking transformation initiatives across retail banking, corporate banking, treasury operations, digital channels, and customer experience modernization.
This role is designed for a senior banking executive capable of integrating traditional banking excellence with next-generation digital banking capabilities, while strengthening operational resilience, profitability, and market competitiveness across the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities

Lead large-scale banking transformation programs covering branch modernization, digital onboarding, lending optimization, and customer journey redesign.

Develop strategic banking growth initiatives aligned with regional economic diversification programs.

Oversee performance management across retail, SME, corporate, and wealth banking segments.

Drive banking innovation through AI-enabled analytics, intelligent automation, and advanced customer engagement platforms.

Strengthen risk governance, operational controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Collaborate with executive leadership to optimize balance sheet performance and revenue diversification.

Lead cross-functional teams across operations, technology, product, risk, and finance divisions.

Represent the institution in high-level stakeholder engagements across the GCC financial ecosystem.
Candidate Profile

15+ years of progressive banking leadership experience.

Strong background in retail and corporate banking transformation.

Deep understanding of GCC banking regulations and market dynamics.

Proven experience managing multi-billion-dollar banking portfolios.

Executive-level communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or Business Administration preferred.
