Position Summary
Saudi Arabia’s financial transformation is accelerating through digital policy frameworks and intelligent compliance innovation.
The Director of RegTech Innovation & Financial Compliance Intelligence will lead the development of next-generation regulatory technology systems, embedding automation, AI governance, and data interoperability into financial supervision frameworks.
The incumbent will design systems that monitor, analyze, and predict regulatory behaviors across the financial ecosystem, transforming compliance from a procedural requirement into a strategic intelligence layer supporting systemic trust and resilience.
Primary Responsibilities

Architect AI-enabled RegTech ecosystems integrating digital identity, transaction monitoring, and compliance analytics.

Lead the design of regulatory data lakes and inter-institutional data exchange systems aligned with FATF, ISO, and Basel standards.

Develop machine-readable compliance protocols, enabling financial institutions to automate cross-jurisdictional obligations.

Direct the creation of predictive compliance models that forecast risk exposure, transaction anomalies, and policy deviations.

Implement semantic regulation engines that translate legal requirements into executable machine logic.

Collaborate with policymakers, fintech regulators, and technology consortia to refine Saudi Arabia’s RegTech maturity index.
Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Law & Technology, Financial Data Science, or RegTech Systems.

10+ years in financial compliance, digital regulation, or AI-driven policy automation.

Proficiency in NLP, data modeling, and algorithmic audit frameworks.

Knowledge of international regulatory standards (Basel III, AMLD6, FATCA, GFIN).

Demonstrated expertise in deploying RegTech systems within fintech or capital markets.
