Position Overview
Bahrain remains a leading GCC hub for regulated fintech innovation. The Director of RegTech Innovation & Digital Compliance Intelligence will spearhead the development of intelligent regulatory frameworks, compliance automation tools, and financial risk governance systems.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement AI-driven compliance platforms for real-time monitoring, anomaly detection, and regulatory reporting.

Lead creation of digital identity and KYC ecosystems that streamline onboarding while ensuring AML compliance.

Build self-adaptive regulatory intelligence frameworks that integrate machine learning to detect emerging risks.

Partner with regulators and fintech innovators to co-design sandbox environments and scalable compliance infrastructures.

Oversee blockchain-based audit and transaction verification systems for compliance and transparency.
Required Expertise
-
10+ years in RegTech, compliance innovation, or fintech governance.

Expertise in AI-driven regulatory monitoring, blockchain auditability, and secure data governance.

Strong knowledge of CBB regulations, FATF guidance, and GCC compliance frameworks.

Advanced degree in Regulatory Technology, Financial Engineering, or Data Governance.
