Position Summary
The Director of Quantitative Fintech Analytics will build Bahrain’s data-driven digital finance infrastructure, integrating AI-powered predictive modeling, financial econometrics, and real-time payment analytics. This role ensures that all financial instruments, digital payments, and liquidity flows are systematically monitored, analyzed, and optimized for both institutional and retail applications.
Core Responsibilities

Develop quantitative models for liquidity, risk, fraud detection, and asset behavior across multi-layered payment systems.

Implement real-time AI and ML pipelines to monitor digital transactions, predict anomalies, and optimize credit allocation.

Ensure regulatory compliance through automated RegTech systems and transparent analytics.

Collaborate with fintech institutions, banks, and regulatory authorities to harmonize analytical frameworks.

Provide strategic guidance on digital asset adoption, cross-border payment systems, and emerging fintech innovations.
Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance, Data Science, or Financial Engineering.

10+ years of experience in AI-driven financial analytics, fintech strategy, or digital payments architecture.

Expertise in Python, R, MATLAB, and large-scale financial data systems.

Knowledge of GCC fintech regulations and international compliance standards.
