Role Overview

The UAE remains a global hub for payments innovation and digital commerce. This role demands a highly strategic leader to design scalable, interoperable payment ecosystems that support domestic and international transactions while meeting the UAE’s ambition to be at the forefront of global fintech competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and scale real-time payments and settlement infrastructures.

• Lead CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) and blockchain settlement projects.

• Oversee compliance with UAE Central Bank regulatory frameworks.

• Enhance cross-border transaction efficiency through ISO 20022 adoption.

• Develop partnerships with regulators, fintechs, and international clearinghouses.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA, Finance, or Technology).

• 12+ years in payments strategy, clearing systems, or fintech innovation.

• Proven expertise in digital identity, tokenization, and fraud prevention systems.

• Global exposure with strong knowledge of GCC and international payment regulations.

• Strong leadership, governance, and execution capability.
