Role Overview
The UAE continues to set benchmarks in payments modernization, cross-border settlements, and digital identity adoption. The Director of Payments Infrastructure Strategy will lead the design, governance, and rollout of secure, scalable, and globally interoperable payment platforms that strengthen the UAE’s role in financial innovation.
Core Responsibilities

Develop and oversee national-level payment modernization strategies, aligning with global standards (e.g., ISO 20022).

Integrate digital identity frameworks to streamline authentication and enhance security across retail and institutional ecosystems.

Drive the adoption of blockchain-enabled remittance solutions and tokenized settlement models.

Implement AI-powered fraud prevention systems and advanced risk management frameworks.

Collaborate with regulators, financial institutions, and global fintech networks to accelerate adoption and cross-border alignment.
Candidate Profile

12+ years in payments infrastructure, transaction technology, or fintech architecture.

Strong expertise in real-time payments, blockchain settlements, and digital identity ecosystems.

Proven background in cybersecurity and large-scale payments resilience.

Experience working with international interoperability standards.
