Position Overview
The Director of Open Banking & Embedded Finance Systems will spearhead the development of secure, API-driven fintech infrastructure in Kuwait. The role requires expertise in embedded finance platforms, real-time payments, and AI-enhanced customer insights, ensuring interoperability, compliance, and innovation across multiple financial ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities

Open Banking Architecture: Build scalable APIs connecting banks, fintechs, and third-party service providers.

Embedded Finance Strategy: Design platforms for seamless integration of financial services within retail, mobility, and digital commerce applications.

Predictive Analytics: Use AI to enhance credit evaluation, customer behavior prediction, and transactional optimization.

Regulatory Compliance: Implement automated compliance monitoring aligned with Kuwait’s financial regulations.

Ecosystem Development: Drive collaboration between stakeholders to foster innovation in payments, lending, and digital assets.
Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in Financial Technology, AI Systems, or Digital Finance Architecture.

10+ years’ experience in open banking, embedded finance, or digital payments architecture.

Expertise in API security, microservices architecture, and AI-enhanced fintech platforms.

Strong understanding of GCC fintech compliance standards and digital transformation strategies.
