Position Summary
The Director of Open Banking & Embedded Finance will define Kuwait’s strategic digital finance ecosystem, integrating open banking APIs, embedded financial services, and AI-driven consumer insights. The role requires mastery in fintech infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation, delivering secure, interoperable, and intelligent financial experiences.
Primary Responsibilities

Design and implement open banking platforms enabling seamless interaction between banks, fintechs, and third-party service providers.

Architect embedded finance systems for payments, lending, and micro-investment platforms.

Integrate AI analytics for predictive customer behavior, fraud detection, and transactional optimization.

Ensure compliance with Kuwait’s financial regulations and international best practices.

Lead cross-functional teams to drive innovation, adoption, and scalability of digital finance services.
Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in Financial Technology, Computer Science, or Digital Systems Engineering.

10+ years in open banking, embedded finance, or digital payment systems.

Expertise in API security, microservices architecture, and AI-enhanced financial platforms.

Familiarity with GCC fintech regulations and emerging digital finance frameworks.
