Strategic Role Mandate

This role is designed for a senior fintech governance architect responsible for ensuring that fintech platforms evolve with discipline, coherence, and institutional confidence. The mandate focuses on how platforms change over time, ensuring growth does not undermine control, clarity, or system assurance.

Although fully remote, the role is aligned with Bahrain’s position as a regional fintech governance and innovation hub, requiring international governance fluency and deep technical literacy.

Core Strategic Responsibilities

• Design governance frameworks governing fintech platform evolution and architectural change.

• Embed assurance mechanisms that validate system behavior, control effectiveness, and platform intent.

• Establish structures for architecture review, change management, and controlled innovation pathways.

• Prevent systemic risk arising from uncoordinated platform expansion or fragmented technical decisions.

• Align engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders around shared governance principles.

• Serve as the senior authority on platform confidence, governance maturity, and evolutionary discipline.

Advanced Expertise Requirements

• Deep experience in fintech governance architecture, platform assurance, and system oversight.

• Strong understanding of how technical decisions translate into long-term institutional risk or resilience.

• Ability to operationalize governance without stifling innovation velocity.

• Executive-level ability to articulate governance models with precision and authority.

Ideal Executive Profile

• 15+ years in fintech systems governance, architecture oversight, or platform assurance roles.

• Demonstrated success maintaining platform integrity through rapid growth phases.

• Highly structured thinker with strong institutional orientation.

Compensation Structure (Indicative – Bahrain-Aligned, Remote)

• Base Salary: BHD 9,200 – 13,800 per month

• Annual Governance Performance Bonus: 20% – 38%

• Long-Term Platform Assurance Incentive: Multi-year stability and governance benchmarks

• Executive Governance & Architecture Development Allowance: Global fintech governance programs
