Role Purpose
The Director of Fintech Policy, Governance & Digital Infrastructure will lead the strategic design and governance of financial innovation ecosystems that unify regulatory modernization, digital compliance, and technology-driven financial inclusion. Operating remotely, this position will oversee frameworks that underpin Saudi Arabia’s digital financial sovereignty, aligning innovation with risk resilience and long-term ecosystem scalability.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage fintech governance architectures, integrating regtech automation and AI-driven compliance ecosystems.

Lead policy frameworks supporting digital asset regulation, open banking, and financial technology acceleration programs.

Oversee infrastructure alignment between payment gateways, blockchain nodes, and secure identity verification systems.

Establish performance metrics for fintech governance maturity and compliance benchmarking across digital institutions.

Drive cross-ministerial collaboration to harmonize innovation, compliance, and data integrity under unified national fintech policy.

Author position papers and policy frameworks representing GCC digital finance interests in global regulatory networks.
Candidate Qualifications

10–15 years’ experience in fintech policy, digital finance governance, or regulatory transformation.

Strong grasp of data compliance (GDPR, GCC-specific standards), digital currency regulation, and global fintech law.

Expertise in designing policy sandboxes and innovation testing environments.

Advanced degree in Public Policy, Digital Finance, or Financial Regulation; Doctoral-level research background advantageous.
