A fast-growing fintech ecosystem in Manama is recruiting an accomplished Director of Fintech Lending Operations & Credit Strategy to lead digital lending transformation, credit operations, customer financial access solutions, and enterprise-wide lending strategy across next-generation financial platforms.

This role requires a commercially intelligent leader capable of balancing responsible lending growth with operational efficiency, customer experience, and strong financial governance. The successful candidate will oversee credit product strategy, lending operations, portfolio performance, and financial risk optimization across high-growth lending ecosystems.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead strategic growth across digital lending operations, credit products, and customer financial access platforms
• Build scalable lending frameworks across personal finance solutions, SME lending, and merchant financial services
• Strengthen customer onboarding, underwriting workflows, and credit decision processes across digital channels
• Improve portfolio quality, repayment performance, and financial sustainability across lending operations
• Collaborate with finance, compliance, risk, and technology teams to ensure operational excellence
• Design credit performance models and profitability strategies across lending products
• Introduce automation initiatives for underwriting efficiency, customer servicing, and operational productivity
• Build executive dashboards and reporting frameworks for credit portfolio visibility and strategic decision-making
• Strengthen ecosystem partnerships with financial institutions and lending infrastructure providers
• Ensure governance readiness across lending compliance, audit standards, and operational controls
• Support regional market expansion across GCC lending and financial access opportunities
• Lead high-performing teams across credit operations, lending strategy, and commercial delivery

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or Financial Technology
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in lending operations, credit strategy, fintech finance, or banking leadership
• Strong expertise in digital lending, underwriting, and credit portfolio management
• Understanding of Bahrain’s financial services ecosystem and regulatory lending environment
• Proven leadership across lending transformation and financial operations programs
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication capability
• Advanced strategic planning and commercial execution skills
