Position Summary

An established financial technology environment in Oman is undertaking a major modernization project involving digital banking systems, API infrastructure, payment technology integration, and financial platform scalability.

To support this expansion, the organization is seeking a Director of Fintech Infrastructure & Digital Banking Technology to oversee enterprise fintech systems, digital banking architecture, platform reliability, and operational technology performance.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for professionals experienced in managing financial technology infrastructure inside:

• Digital banks

• Fintech ecosystems

• Banking technology firms

• Payment processors

• Financial software environments

The successful candidate will help drive one of the region’s largest ongoing fintech infrastructure transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Fintech Infrastructure Management

• Oversee digital banking infrastructure operations

• Monitor fintech platform availability and system performance

• Improve enterprise payment technology environments

• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades and scalability projects

• Strengthen operational reliability across financial systems

Technology & Platform Operations

• Lead fintech technology support teams

• Coordinate with software engineers and cybersecurity teams

• Improve API connectivity and banking integrations

• Support rollout of new digital financial services

• Manage vendor relationships and infrastructure providers

Security & Operational Resilience

• Improve fintech disaster recovery procedures

• Strengthen financial system security controls

• Support compliance with financial technology regulations

• Coordinate infrastructure risk assessments

• Monitor operational vulnerabilities across banking platforms

Leadership & Strategic Planning

• Develop fintech technology roadmaps

• Support long-term digital banking transformation projects

• Prepare infrastructure performance reports for executive management

• Assist with budgeting and fintech investment planning

• Lead cross-functional fintech operational initiatives

Requirements

✔ 8–12 years experience in:

• Banking technology

• Fintech infrastructure

• Enterprise systems

• Financial platform operations

• Digital banking environments

✔ Strong understanding of:

• Cloud infrastructure

• Banking APIs

• Payment systems

• Infrastructure scalability

• Cybersecurity operations

• Enterprise fintech environments

✔ Experience leading technical or infrastructure teams
✔ Strong operational and project management skills
