Director of Fintech Data Sovereignty- Transaction Intelligence & Systemic Visibility

Location: Bahrain (Manama | Strategic Hybrid)

Mandate & Structural Rationale

This role defines how financial systems observe themselves in real time. The Supreme Director governs the architecture of fintech data flows, ensuring that transaction data, behavioural signals, and systemic indicators are transformed into continuous, actionable intelligence.

The mandate positions data not as an analytical afterthought, but as core financial infrastructure, enabling foresight, stability, and adaptive governance across digital finance ecosystems.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Architect national-scale fintech data platforms spanning payments, wallets, and embedded finance ecosystems.

• Design real-time transaction intelligence layers enabling behavioural analysis and anomaly detection.

• Establish data sovereignty and lineage frameworks ensuring traceability, integrity, and accountability.

• Embed consent logic, access controls, and governance rules directly into data architectures.

• Define event-driven analytics models for continuous system observability.

• Develop predictive financial intelligence frameworks anticipating risk before manifestation.

• Translate regulatory data principles into executable technical constraints.

• Govern long-term scalability and resilience of financial data infrastructure.

Required Expertise

• Deep mastery of financial data architecture and real-time analytics systems.

• Experience designing event streaming, intelligence engines, and decision platforms.

• Strong grasp of transaction behaviour, systemic risk, and observability theory.

• Ability to balance transparency, privacy, and systemic trust.

Leadership Orientation

• Treats visibility as a control mechanism.

• Designs intelligence as infrastructure, not dashboards.

• Thinks in signal flows, not reports.

Compensation Architecture (Bahrain)

• Base Salary: BHD 195,000 – 230,000 per annum

• Data Infrastructure Leadership Allowance: BHD 40,000 – 55,000

• Intelligence Impact Incentive: Up to 35% of base

• Long-Term Data Architecture Awards: Multi-year milestone-based compensation
